Reaching Athletes for Christ at the
2010 Winter Olympics & Paralympics
Starting February 12th the world will tune in to watch athletes and teams compete in Vancouver and Whistler for the Gold.
Thousands of competitors will converge on the two Athlete Villages. In the heart of these villages will be the Multi-Faith Centers. Here, athletes from all faiths can meet with a chaplain for encouragement and support.
I have been selected as one of three Christian chaplains serving athletes full-time during these games. Athletes will be able to meet with us daily for prayer, counseling, Bible studies and traditional services.
It’s an honor to have been selected to represent my faith at these games. With this voluntary position, I’m looking to the Lord and to you, my faithful supporters, to help provide for housing, food and travel expenses.
